A nautical update to the classic black pant suit, this ensemble is an example of the subtle details that can update an otherwise conservative work ensemble, making it modern and fully on trend.  Especially for those of you in a service formal environment, you’ll want to ditch the red bandana and sandals at the office (try black flats instead), but I wanted to showcase the impact of these two basic elements when combined with the sailor-style suit.  The resulting look is anything but ordinary corporate fare.

I know, there are so lots of sailor puns to be made, but this Wednesday morning feels a little bit a lot more like Monday morning to me and I just haven’t had enough coffee yet.

In case you missed yesterday’s post, I launched my #30DRESSESin30DAYS series yesterday and am sharing my day two dress on instagram today!  Thanks for all your sweet words and for following along!!
