(Halifax, NS) Top Nova Scotian artists will perform on the main stage at the sixth annual Creative Nova Scotia Awards Gala, to be held on the evening of Friday, October 28, 2011 at the Cunard Centre in Halifax.
The gala, hosted by the Creative Nova Scotia Leadership Council (CNSLC), will feature musical storyteller Jamie Junger, a Robert Merritt Award winning performance by Zuppa Theatre, ECMA winner Christina Martin, and Three Sheet who has recently been nominated for Digital Artist, Group Recording and Entertainer of the Year with Music Nova Scotia. Following the event there will a special screening of Heart of Rhyme produced by Preston Hudson and directed by Corey Bowles which recently premiered at the 2011 Atlantic Film Festival. The Creative Nova Scotia 2011 Awards Gala will take guests on a journey through the life of art, with a focus on Nova Scotian artists and artisans.
